Question fuel pump change (cut hole or not)

I have a 99 SS planing on upgrading fuel pump for addition of n2o ...I see alot of folks cut a hole in ther car to change the fuel pump...i was wondering if anyone has changed there fuel pump w/out cutting a hole and how long it took...also any special tools needed.........thanks

cutting wheel and do one side very very slowly and stop. then do the next side and so on.
yeah then just put a nice thick plate of aluminum or ss with four screws on each side and your good.

I agree cutting the hole is way easier then dropping the tank. However you need to be experienced with a cut-off wheel or grinder before you attempt it IMO. Use the thinnest disk possible.
