Default high HP fuel system on low HP setup?

I have been tossing the idea of picking up:

2 Walbro 340 intank fuel pumps

Walbro fuel pump install kit

Nasty Performance hotwire kit

Nasty Performance Billet fuel rails

MagnaFuel billet fuel pressure regulator w/boost ref.

MagnaFuel billet stainless steel fuel filter

Aeroquip -8 braided stainless feed fuel line

My car doesn't make anywhere near the kind of power that this fuel system can support but I am piecing together a turbo kit and was curious if anyone could tell me if and why it would be a bad idea to install the fuel system prior to the turbo setup and just run my 30# SVO injectors in the mean time.

It would be fine. If you had a proper kit from Lonnie. Your hobbs switch would never activate, so it would run like you only had 1 pump anyway.

One of my dual pump kits will work fine in yor application. You can either disable 1 pump until you need it, or run the boost activation switch, that will prevent it from operating without boost.

Feel free to call if you want to discuss your current & future needs.
