Default Another question for Racetronix - dual 340 setup

Hi Jack,

I have seen you post in a few of the threads around here and I thought you might be able to help me. At the end of this summer I bought (used from a board member here) the dual intank walbro setup made by Racetronix for the 99+ cars with what I was told was about 2000 miles on it. Up until recently I had been operating the system with only one pump running since that is all I have needed up until now.

I just finished setting up a direct port nitrous system on my car and now I'm ready to set it up to run with both pumps. Well, since I was only running the one pump previously (working seemingly flawlessly I might add) I had never bothered to use the jumper to connect the other pump to test it out. Well, tonight I removed the jumper from the working pump and connected it to the other one so that was the only one connected, and I don't hear it prime up at all when the ignition is on and the car will not start. Does this mean that the secondary pump I had not been using is bad somehow? Or does one have to be connected for the other to work?

If the second pump has gone out, can I send the sending unit in for repair? Thank you!!

Hmmm.... 31 views and no replies. Well, I'm going to be checking out the inline fuses and see if there might be a problem there (doubt it), but other than that I think I'll be all out of ideas.

Update: Checked the fuses (they look brand new) and tried switching them and the jumpers to no avail. Checked both relays and they seem fine also. It's still that same pump that isn't kicking on. I can't imagine the problem would be in the wiring harness, it is in brand new condition also.

I do not always have time to scan all the boards for posts such as this. If you need quick answers to your questions support@racetronix.com is a few keystrokes away.
