best injector Im looking to put down 550 to 600 hp. I'm thinking a set of 42 lb injectors would be able to do the job but seeing as I am no expert in fuel injection does this sound right and more importantly who makes the best injector or what should I stay away from.
You will probably need a 60#. How are you making your power? S/C nitrous turbo? You may want flowmatched injectors. We carry standard and flowmatched 60's made by Motron, we also carry Delphi 42's both are good companies.
I would go with 60's. Any tuner worth his weight could make that car run well with 60's. Flow matching helps.
As far as a brand, most everything is a re-branded Motron or Delphi from what I've been told.

right on. I plan on an ls2 stroked to 402ci, 12:1 compression, afr 205's, ms4 cam, fast 90/90, stainless midlength with matched y pipe (1 3/4 primary to 3.5 y). on the stock ls1 I have now with intake and exhaust I was putting down 347 to the wheels, so add the cam+heads+bottom end and some good tuning I was shooting for 550 to the wheels, I also have direct port NX but didnt factor it in because it wont use fuel from the injectors. so I guess ill shoot for 60#s, ill make sure to get some info and post it up once everything comes together. thanks.
Delphi 42's are known to not work properly with LS1 or LT1 computers...
