Default 2002 Z28 fuel sending unit help!!!!!!!!!!

Ok here is the story I need a new sending unit/basket. Does the 3.8 v6 camaro have the same sending unit like are the tanks the same will it directly drop in I'm not worried about the pump I have a 255 walbro pump to go in just worried about the basket dropping in and being the same one I'm pretty sure they have the same fuel tank and setup. If anybody has had a similar situation or knowledge of this please chime in!!!!!!!

The senders are similar, but different because the v6 does not have a pressure regulator. If you remove the regulator from the Z28 sender, it should work in a v6 car.

You can not add a regulator to the v6 sender, as it is made different.
