Default Larger Fuel Injectors for LT1

I have a 96 LT1 w/ stock 24lb fuel injectors. My mods are Fully ported/polished heads w/ 1.56" exhaust and 2.00" intake flowing 198 and 276 respectively, with a port matched intake, ported throttle body, comp ex268h-10 cam w/ 224/230 duration and 110 lobe sep, and edelbrock shorty headers. SHould I have to upgrade to larger injectors (stock are 24) or not? Thanks

Purchase an adjustable fuel pressure regulator (AFPR) and buy a fuel pressure gauge. With the pressure gauge, check your stock fuel pressure, then install the AFPR. Increase the fuel pressure over stock value to get more fuel. You should be able to go up to about 58psi and the injectors will flow 27.7#/hr,, which is a 15% increase in fuel flow. I would think that would be enough for your mods.

Default Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator

Ok, well I went with 30# SVO injectors, but do I also need an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, or even a higher flowing fuel pump. Thanks.

Yep, 30svo's are fine. You don't need an adj fuel pressure regulator, esp. with the larger injectors. You can hook up a fuel pressure gauge and look at your pressure - as long as it isn't dropping you are fine. If you need a new pump best bet would be to just at a 255lph in tank. Cheap, quiet, and reliable.
