downgrade injector size

Default downgrade injector size

Im getting a 99 harness and PCM for my 98 engine which as far as i know has the stock injectors are on the car. my question is would i ahev to downgrade to the 26 lb injectors for any reason b/c thats what i was told.

Or have the computer tuned for the 28lbs injectors. It will through the fuel curve off with the different injectors.

Stay with the 28s, your only talking like 2 lb difference and PCM will relearn and recal but best path would be to tweak the PCM injector flow table but it would run OK without tune

what about if i used a 2002 harness b/c thats what i am now buying

02 computer, and 98 injectors are within .2 # of eachother, and should compensate no problem.
