Default Upgrade Stock Fuel Pump?

Im installing a bigger cam in a few weeks I expect to be around 420rwhp. I decided to install SVO 30lb injectors just to be safe. Should I also upgrade the factory fuel pump or should it still be good at this power level. The car is NA H/C/I with 65k miles street car

Not a bad idea at all. I'd say a single Racetronix pump kit would be right. Lonnie's Performance has a good deal on them and gives good tech support and customer service.

Whats the real limit of the stock pump? Im on a budget and Id rather not waste the money right not unless its really needed.

It's prolly only a matter of time before she goes, but I'm sporting my stock 98' pump with 192k on it.. It's fueling my h/c & 42lb's just fine.. Knocking on wood! I've heard 450rwhp is about the standard for the stock pump.

Not going against what was said. Most of the time you're ok to 450, but my 2002 Z/28, which has a slightly better fuel system than the older cars, broke the ring land off the #7 piston and ruined my Summer. I suspect it had a dip in fuel pressure and it went lean. My car was a well tuned stock cube H/C with 430 rwhp
