Fuel gauge problems
My fuel gauge sits past full all the time. Here are my details. I have a 1st gen car with 4th gen parts incorporated into it, pretty sweet if I can just get it all to work. I have a dash and cluster from a 94 Firebird the 150 mph cluster, my tank, sender, and pump assembly are from a LS1 I have read that my gauge needs a 0-90 ohm sender and the LS1 sender is a 40-240 ohm. I am running a TPI motor which I don't think has any effect on the gauge since the 94 connects direct to the tank. Anyhow what do I need to do to make my fuel gauge work properly? By the way all the rest of my gauges in the cluster are working. If I ground the purple wire with key on it goes to empty so think the gauge itself is OK.
