Well, I took out my pump for the 90th time and decided to take the sock off and inspect. I found alot of debree in the sock and the screen that is on the pump it's self had some debree. I need to find the CORRECT FILTER SOCK for the 1998 METAL tanks. Seems hard to find these things for some reason.

Keep in mind the Racetronix filter & the stock filter are different.
I think WFS-06 is The Racetronix Walbro part number... never had to buy one separately.
Based on sound, the pump acts as if a line is pinched shut. The pump struggles, getting louder building pressure & then finally pushes fuel through, changing pitch & the pressure going up. Personally I would disconnect the fuel line at the front of car & supply line at the tank (do not disconnect the return), then blow through the lines (with only your mouth). You should be able to do this. If you cannot, you have line problem or blocked filter.
You also could have got debris in the pump that is making it malfunction, possibly plugging it internally.
It is not that common that a pump runs but dos not pump fuel.
Also how tight did you clamp the pump in when you installed it? Hopefully you did not tighten the clamp with a rachet or wrench & crush the pump.... snug is fine.
