got a 02 z28. gas light comes on around 260 to the tank. go to fill it up and i only put in 12.4 gallons from when the gauge reads dead empty. do 02s have a smaller tank? or is my fuel level sensor the culprit?

When your level sender is at max droop, it doesnt mean its touching the bottom of the tank. All 99-02 Fbodys got the 16.6 gal plastic fuel cell, but dont expect to be able to use all 16.6 gals every time you run it to the raggedy edge
