Default At a Crossroad...

OK...here is where I am at. I have a 370 c.i. engine with 317 heads...figured about 9.0:1. Procharger D1SC, EPP Blower Cam, Forged Internals. I ran 10.78 @ 125 mph on just shy of 8 psi. I am guessing around 525 to 550 rwhp. I am guessing the car could run mid 10.60's just getting the 60 ft in check. Turbo 350 with 4200 Stall and Ford 9". I have Edlebrock Fuel Rails, Fuel Lab Regulator, Twin Walbros tee'd into -10 Feed Line then after Filter go to (2) -8 Lines to each rail. Stock feed for return. I have Motron 60 lb injectors. I am going to turn the boost up to 17 to 18 psi. I would guess hopefully 750 rwhp on this setup...prolly not much more with the mildly ported 317's.

Here is my situation...

Will 60 lb injectors be good to my power level on C-16 Race Gas or do I need to go to 80's?

I like the allure of E-85...but I am wondering if I have enough pump to do this? I am wondering if 80 lbers would do it too?

If 60's won't be enough for my power levels - should I just get 80's and try E-85 on full boost and if it doesn't cut it switch back to C-16????

I've read here people making 750 rwhp on E-85 with twin walbros...but I don't know what injectors?

If my 60 lbers won't get me to my power level on racegas...I might as well buy 80's and try E-85 first? If my 60's will meet 750 rwhp on gas I might stick with them...

Thanks for the help everyone. E-85 sounds so appealing when it can potentially make as much power on C-16 and be a hell of a lot cheaper.

Fuel system looks like a good setup on C-16 60's might make it with a good tune, 80's will give you some cushion.

Switch to E85 everything will be on the ragged edge as you will need 33% more fuel delivery volume. Making the dual pumps just about maxed and the 80's well maxed rec. some 96-120#ers.

Nate,

That's what I needed to know. Thanks man. I think I will go with the 80s and see what power it makes on Gas and if it doesn't make the power I expected I might have enough to go with E-85. Just hard to say what power it will make on full boost. Thanks again!
