Which brand throttle body What are the best brands of throttle bodies? I'm in the market for a 90mm cable throttle body. Do some throttle bodies flow better than other brands? What should you look for when choosing a throttle body (other than size)? Is a Holley throttle body worth $100 more than an Edlebrock, etc?

i just bought a used fast off line and from what i have found if it is ported professionally (or just well) it will flow more efficiently. it seems that the better throttle bodys dont create as much turbulant flow. we will see how it performs.

It is my opinion that the best throttle body is one that offers great progression at low rpm/flow so that you have nice off-idle and cruising control, but is unrestrictive at mid-to-high rpm & WOT.
Many of the ported throttle bodies are sold and accepted because they "feel more responsive" ... which is really just that they are not offering nice progression/modulation at low rpm.
FYI ... I am currently prototyping a 108mm throttle-body & manifold combination in both cable & electronic control, for LS1/2/6 & LS3/L77/78/98/99 configurations.

since im not trying to sell a product. i will say search the threads. there is YEARS of proven reliability and performance with NW TB. And plenty of complaints with FAST TB's.
