Default Racetronix Hotwire Kit

I just bought Kit number RX-F99-FPWH-2. It says "for cars with plastic fuel tanks only". Does that mean a fuel cell or they referring to the plastic buket in the tank?

It means it is designed for plastic tank 99-02 F-bodies & not the 98 metal tank cars.

What's the difference? What is the kit number for a metal tank? Was actually hoping to use this with an aftermarket tank such as a Rick's.

They have different wiring where it connects to the car. Buy the proper year to match your car.

If using a different tank you may need to alter the wires at the tank to connect to it.
