Inline Bosch 044 with factory in-tank pump?

Default Inline Bosch 044 with factory in-tank pump?
Would my factory (01 Z28) in-tank be able to feed an inline 044, or should i just put the 044 in the tank?

Not a good option as the factory pump will be restricting the 044. Running it intank would be the better option.
