Larger Injectors &/or Pump Needed for This Setup?
Larger Injectors &/or Pump Needed for This Setup? I will be installing a set of Patriot 5.3L Stg2 heads, LS6 intake, LPE GT2-3 cam w/Comp R Lifters & Harland Sharp Rockers, Hooker LT's w/catted Y & Bauer Ported/Polished TB on my 2000 WS6.
Do I need to upgrade to larger injectors &/or a 255 pump? I do plan to install NOS some time down the road - but not now (if my stockers are borderline with the setup mentioned above I would like to upgrade now if tuning will be possible using larger injectors at this time prior to NOS).
If larger injectors are recommended what size should I go with and mfg.? I need info from the experts
or someone that has a similar setup.
I will be getting these installed along with a dyno tune @ Rapid Motorsports and would like to have them in advance if needed.

With the mods in my sig I was loosing 5 psi of fuel pressure anything above 5600 RPM. My cam is a 231/231. I would think that you would need at least the pump. Possibly some new injectors. Since you have a 2000 I think you have the 26# injectors. I got a set of used 28# stock injectors off of a 2002 car. This might work for you as well.
