Default Car dies when fuel level gets low?

Whenever my fuel level gets on the lower end of the gauge, but no where near empty, the car keeps stalling out. I can start it up, and as long as I give it gas its fine, but once I come to a stop it will die again. But when the tank is at 1/4 or more, its fine. What do you guys think this can be?

The car does have a cold start issue as well, in that it keeps cranking for five seconds on cold starts before it gets going. Any ideas?

my car had the same issues....its possible it might be in the tune? but im guessing you have an F-Body? if so the way our tanks sit depending on the slope your on it could cause your car to stall, it has happened to me before but was never a serious issue.

It would help to know what car you have & if your fuel sender is stock or modified.
