Bosch 420L inlet outlet thread type??

Default Bosch 420L inlet outlet thread type??

I recieved my Bosch 420L pump and i know it comes with an -10AN inlet fitting and a -8AN oulet fitting. My question is what is the the thread type that screws into the pump? Is it NPT? I am asking because the -8AN works fine as an outlet, but i am wanting to run -8AN into the pump from my tank as well and i am needing to know what fitting to buy so this will work for me.

Damn I wish I could help you Kyle, but I have the same problem with my CAS regulator. I don't know what internal thread the ports are??? Speed INC. didn't either and forget about getting ahold of CAS lol. But Mike at Speed INC is swapping an aeromotive unit for this one. Crappy part is, I have about 35 bucks worth of fittings sitting here that I tried to use on it. -6AN, -4AN Various NPT fittings and nothing works, it looks to be metric.

I have the 420L also, before i open all those fittings sent to me from Speed in and the Pump itself, can you be more clear as to what the issue is...not that you werent clear, but as a novice when it comes to fuel systems, more details help. I learn as I go, and fuel is one area of which I have little to no experience yet, but we yanked the tank today to start the install of the aluminum tank and Speed Inc complete fuel system.

The fittings they send you are -10an as an input side and -8an and an out. The out is perfect since im running -8an fuel line. I am needing to buy a fitting that is -8an for the input side but i dont know the thread type and if it is evan an -an fitting or if it is an NPT fitting....that threads into the pump its self.... hope that explained it a little more.....

Jer,
i have the Aeromotive one and its the -6an version.... watch out cause they have a -10an version to. Its a -6an union for the REG. because its and -AN fitting not NPT........ just a little info for ya....... Im using a tube,nut, sleeve to sit the REG on top of the stock feed line and use it as my return............. and use the stock tank sumped so i can still use the same sending units for my dash gauges........ Shoot me a PM man.... ill give ya more info

Bos, Thanks man if ya can find out that would be awsome i need to order all my fuel fittings and lines this week.... ask Speed INC what they did on yours or did you install yours your self??
