Required modifications depend on your power level, but typically you need to allow for 30% more fuel flow than needed with Gasoline.

I was always told you need to upgrade your fuel lines because ethanol is a lot more corrosive than regular gas. I know that most gas today is E10 and rubber lines are fine, but there is a big difference between 10% and 85% lol.

I am bolt ons only, with a 255 and stock 26# injectors on E85. Injectors are at 100%+ over 5800rpm. All you need is a walbro and a tune man

Whats BS? 26# injectors are basically 19# when using E85 and you dont think they are maxed out at ~350whp? If he has 01+ 28# injectors there shouldnt be a problem for bolt ons, not with the cam though. I dont understand what the issue is. I have a 255 pump, and I drove around till it was empty, filled with E85 and had a complete tune done within 1/2 tank. Its not difficult, flash the 1-bar SD OS (I dislike MAFs) and drive around!

My logs show commanded 115% at 6400rpm, still at 13.2AFR so its not an issue at the moment, and I normally shift at 5800 where it is at 98-105% and 13.0 AFR

I would also suggest running some 30R10 hose from your pump to handle the E85. Gates# 27097

I am on stock lines and all that. No need to change. I have a 255 in the tank and 49# injectors. 430whp.

^^I'm talking about the 6" single rubber line from the pump to sender, not the external plastic/metal lines. Regular fuel hose will not last long submersed in E85.. The plactic ribbed hose, like the factory & Racetronix kits should be fine however.

This is what I am using, factory style plastic ribbed. IMO it is all that should be used. Rubber lines in the tank suck, both with gasoline and e85.

So no need to replace the pump, injectors? That goes against everything I've heard or read. Minimum change the fuel lines. Sure you can use the stock rubber but it will break down over time. I was thinking of doing this conversion when I swap over to a LS3.

out of the thousands of gallons of E85 ive used not once have I had a failure of any part of the fuel system as a result of the fuel. everything breaks down over time, you put E100 in your body as alcohol, I think a car can handle it

I do drive on using E85+ gas mix (90% +10%) and had not modify anything for 3 years on T/A. No Issues.
E85 here is 3.10p/gal.
