Default Fuel Pressure Regulator, Where?

Hello new here and I have question. Where is the fuel pressure regulator located on a 2007 5.3 liter?

Thanks Ollie for the reply. I was thinking the same thing however I have two lines going to the fuel rail on the left side of the engine. I know that one is the supply line so what is the other line for?

I thought this was going in another direction. Since the OP's question was already answered, I'll ask mine. What is the best place to put a 1:1 boost ref. FPR in the plumbing sequence, in relation to the rails, to provide optimum performance of a return system without heating the fuel on a dd?

In the return line after the fuel rails.

Ollie, again thanks for responding. I have only been able to find two steel tubes that run up the left side of the transmission, up behind the left head. The line that looks like the supply line connects to the fuel rail on the left side and there is a cross over tube to the fuel rail on the right hand side. Then there is another line that comes of of the left hand fuel rail that goes back to the steel line that comes up from beside the tranny that runs parralell to the supply line. What I am attempting to do is install this engine an transmission into a 1980 CJ7. I have a aftermarket fuel pump that comes our of the tank with two lines that goes to a inline regulator then one that would go to the fuel rail. So what I am trying to figure out is what to do with the extra line coming from the fuel rail, or do I just remove the inline requlator and run two line straight to the fuel and if so, where is the regulator. Any help would be great.

No this is not a Jeep CJ fuel system. I am installing a 5.3 liter GM LS1/LY5 engine which is the truck version of the LS1. It came out of a 2007 GMC Serria and I am trying to use a aftermarket fuel pump and don't know where the fuel pressure regualtor is on the 2007 GMC Serria.

RRRUFF
I believe the regulator is in the fuel pump module like the 4th gen.

Those are Russell fittings. Make sure to get the new style with the
threaded collar the holds the fitting in place. The old style with the
white plastic lock will slip off causing a fuel leak.

AllMotorLT1
That is the old style
The one on the right, is the new style, make sure you order this one.
