Wiering problem?
Wiering problem? Ok, I just built and installed this engine (LS2 in to a 01 WS6) it has less than 300mi on it, I was driving and it seemed to drop a cylinder, I could hear and feel the power loss. So I was checking everything the other night and found a strange thing happening. I was using a pry bar to listen in on the valve train, holding it to the edge of the head and to my ear, no knocking sounded good.
Then the bar touched the valve cover, sparked and blew my INJ1 fuse, causing the #1 bank of injectors to cut out? My question is how and the heck is my valve cover only charged and where? I cant find any wires exposed or touching the cover, as we all know the cover doesn't touch any other metal on the engine because of the gaskets.. The drivers side cover doesn't do it. Any help is appreciated..
