problem....input needed!

problem....input needed! my car started suddenly running kind of sluggish about a week ago. i changed the fuel filter a couple days ago and today i checked the fuel pressure....the specs i found were 55-60 psi with the ignition on/motor off and 3 to 10 psi LOWER with the motor running....
my readings came out like this....
ignition on/motor off -- 48 psi
motor running -- 61 psi
could a bad regulator be causing to much fuel to be dumped in, richening the A/F ratio and making it feel kinda flat??????
any ideas????

I would think that you would be getting some codes if you were getting to much fuel. Try removing the tuning by the HPP3. I know it usually leans out the tune so if it feels worse then maybe you are on the right track as far as getting to much fuel. If you had access to a Data logger you might be able to see what your O2's and your injectors are doing and reading.

i never installed the actual Hypertech power tune....i just use it for speedo correction and cooling fan control. my fuel system seems to check out after all....it runs a little bit rich but i really just need a good tune. thanx.
