Default Fuel sump/pump question

Hey guys Im in the process of piecing together my fuel system for my turbo project and iv hit a wall/problem and I don't know the simplest solution. So my problem Im using an aeromotive a1000 for the main pump and Im was looking at either running a -10 from the stock tank to the pump, or buying a 12 gallon fuel cell and putting it in the stock location. if yall have any other ideas that would be great

I've seen the stock steel tanks sumped by adding a drop down in the rear with an AN fitting welded on and then an A1000 ran externally. Seemed to work well.

I've seen it done. I pulled the tank for the guy to install a Nasty fuel cell that fit in the stock location. Wish you were closer I think I know where the tank is and the guy would likely give it away.

i have a stock tank with a drop down and two 12 an bulk head fitting coming out of the drop down. it work awsome.. btw im runing two a1000 and i have never had a issue.. i think it was easier than running a fuel cell under the car. plus trying to figure out how to fill it.

I have an 01 T/A, Will the steel tank out of the 93-98 Camaro slip right in? Then I could sump it, correct? Been looking at aftermarket new tanks so that everthing will be nice and clean.

ya it should the lt1 and ls1 camaros has the same body. so it should work with no mods. all the parts are the same for aftermarket. ph, control arms, rear ends ect. and yes you can sump them

I have heard of guys running a -12 bulk head fitting at the lowest portion of the tank and running an external pump with good results....

I am looking into one of these options myself..

Trying to fill a fitted fuel cell was simple for me. I cut the gas filler neck off (2 inch diameter) back from the filler spout, used exhaust adapters to neck it down to 1 1/4 then ran 1 1/4 hose to the cell's inlet pipe. Fills and looks stock from the outside.

Lowest section of the tank is in the front I think. That's bad for hard acceleration.

Dont think you can sump a 02 tank because they are plastic... needs to be 98 and older i believe..

Ok. Now is there a fuel cell that can fit in that location?

done this to my '93. put a single -10 in it. the tanks are on an angle and the back is diffenatly lower. put a 90* off the bulkhead and fits perfect between the tank and t-top compartment
