Fuel system needed to run an LS3
I'm doing an LS3 swap in my '95 Mustang. My previous turbo 5.0 setup was using this fuel system that I made:
Granatelli -10AN fuel tank pickup
-10AN Y'd to 2x -6AN
2x Pierburg 255lph external pumps
2x -6AN Y'd into 1x -8AN up to engine with Aeromotive filter
Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator with boost reference
-6AN return line to tank with an in-line fuel cooler
I'm going to be running an LS3 with CNC heads and a cam. Nothing crazy, no power adders. Looking to put down 500RWHP.
My first question is, will I be okay with stock LS3 rails and injectors? (I think the answer is yes, but just wanted to ask)
My current setup seems to be overkill for this engine. I want to use the stock fuel rails, so here are my options:
1. Use current system and tee Aeromotive regulator off of feed line
2. Same as #1 but remove one of the pumps
3. Remove pumps and go back to a Aeromotive 340lph in-tank pump and tee regulator off of feed
4. Same as #3 but sell everything and use a corvette filter as the regulator
Steer me in the right direction! Thanks!

You only need 1
I am not sure on the stock rails. I have 42 in our 500hp deal. Have not had it out yet to see what it is using for duty cycle

I think I'm going to do what you suggested and just remove one of the pumps and leave the rest of the system alone. I have a nice aeromotive fuel filter and a fuel cooler in the return line already anyway. My -8 feed and -6 return go up to the fender also, so I think I will install my regulator behind the RH strut tower and have it tee'd off the feed line if that makes sense. Then I will have a single line going to the LS3 fuel rail which will keep it somewhat of a returnless system.
