Walbro 255 Pump Install problems
Walbro 255 Pump Install problems So I ordered a Walbro pump and hot wire kit from Sho Me Speed. It came with the wrong connector for the pump, Wes is sending me a new one.
But now I am putting it together and am having some trouble. I figured out that the pump slips into the rubber mount, I trimmed the bottom of it so it sticks thru. Now the rubber hose it came with is too short and also it did not come with a large clamp to put around the rubber pump mount to hold it tight.
Also, the new filter it came wont fit in the pump. Are you supposed to trim the bucket in any way. Also the filter is angled, so if you attach it to the pump or bottom of the bucket, it is angled up at a 45 degree angle.
Any help would be great.
