Default 6 liter intake info

I have a 6.0 liter truck engine with no intake out of a 2003 3/4 ton truck. I would like to put on an ls1 intake and I was wondering what all parts I will need to make it complete. I plan on caming it up and puting it in a 98 s-10 pickup. It should be pretty wicked when finished. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Mike, U.S Army, Heidelberg, Germany

I think you just need the intake
unless the coolant lines and egr are different.

the truck intake flows better, but the ls1 intake has a lower height which can fit in under cowls and such, depends on your s10 install

i got an ls1 intake id selll you for $25 plus shipping if you'd want one.

Mike, if the 6.0 just has coolant block-off's right now you will need the Ls1 coolant lines for under the intake. You will also need to drill one of the holes for the alternator bracket or buy an alt. relocation bracket from www.turbotechnologyinc.com or someone else. I had to use the relocation bracket since my turbo was in the way, but I had to bend it some to work on the Lq4. I also had to use an Ls1 temp sensor for the driver side head as my '98 wiring harness didnt plug into the 2003 Lq4 sensor. I also had to use an Ls1 water pump and crank pulley if I remember correctly to clear the radiator and work with my Ls1 alt. bracket. That is all I can think of right now, but send me an email if you need more help.
