Default Quick question about dual pump wiring

Getting around to hooking up the pumps on my dual pump system. The primary pump will be hooked up to the stock wiring and the 2nd will be hooked up to a hobbs switch which will activate at 4psi.
My plan was to have the 2nd pump hooked up to the hobbs switch which is in turned hooked directly up to the battery. I noticed that people seem to use a relay even with a hobbs switch. Is this necessary? I figured with a 4psi switch the pump would just remain off until it hit 4psi. My battery is in the rear so the pump wiring will be hooked up to a distribution block up front. Here's what I was thinking:

Let me know if this will work or not. Thanks a lot guys!

Most hobbs switches aren't meant to handle the power demands of a fuel pump which is why you wire them into the ground circuit of a relay.

^^^^ As stated you want to run the pump through a relay as it is meant to carry the heavier amperage draw. The hobb's switch needs to be just that a switch that triggers the relay for the 2nd pump. I am sure someone will chime in and say they run just the switch but it is smarter/safer to run it through the relay also.
