in theory... If I was to increase the capability of my fuel system without also increasing the demands placed upon it, that would in theory make it easier for my engine to operate thereby increasing efficiency?
no in short. If your injectors/fuel system are near being maxed out, for instance fuel injectors at a duty cycle as high as 90% or more, or your fuel pump not sized properly for your setup and your fuel pressure dropping off at high rpm.
if you better atomize the fuel when its injected you would increase efficiency.
