wrecked 2000 z28(for the LS1)
stage II heads and all billet cam ground for 9-11psi
5.3 cast iron block(out of 5.3 truck) bored to 3.905 and arp main studs (all block work/blue printed/honed is complete)
Polished Valve covers(adds to the "pimp" factor)
Coil relocation brackets
Wires to go from firewall to spark plugs
2 Garret 58mm turbos/wastegates
SMC Alky injection kit
LSX 90mm intake and throttle body
85mm MAF
255lph fuel pump(cam off 500+hp single turbo LS1)
I need to buy
Forged pistons
Roged Rods
Fuel injectors
6 speed transmission with clutch assembly
Clutch
Im told the stock crank is proven over 1000hp, so I should be fine with that right? The car will be daily driven, Id like to see over 800rwhp and thats conservative.
I need advice on what size injectors to get
Whether the stock fuel rail will support the power I want
Is the 255lph fuel pump big enough
what to do with the 6 speed(buy a "built" one???)
best clutch for the street/strip
What pistons/rod are best for forced induction(I know what LS1s can do with just 11 psi =))
Once the motor and tranny are together-its going in my 89 firebird. Then a base tune will allow me to drive it for a while, and drive it down to Orlando and have Norris Motorsports dyno tune the car (Should have 500 miles on it once Im in Orlando).
I am just looking for general advice/tips/insight. Thanks alot guys!
