Need intake / injector advice

Need intake / injector advice I'm very new to the LS scene so please forgive my ignorance...
I bought a '05 LQ4 / 4l80E pullout to put into a '69 Chevelle for my 19 yo son. I don't really want to get any more than about 450 hp from this engine. I would like to change to a LS1 style intake and keep the 317 heads. A friend told me that the original injectors are 26# and he says I need somewhere about 42#. I don;t have any clue if they are EV1 style or what. I know just enough to be dangerous. Help me please!
