Miles per Gallon? Am I looking at this wrong?
I think, it doesn't matter what engine combo you're running. A 600hp engine is going to use as much gas as a 600hp engine.
Whether it's a turbo-charged 6 cylinder Porsche or a 6.2L LS3. The only real difference will be in the drivetrain, aerodynamics, & weight of the vehicle.
So lets say I have a twin-turbo V6 in a 2002 Firebird, and a built LS3 in an identical car. Both making 600hp. My thinking is the difference in gas mileage would be minimal. Is that right?

You can take two identical cars... lets make them Fbodys for arguments sake. Now change the gear ratio in one. Now the mileage will be different between the two
