my car wont start...help my car has sat all winter and it did fire up a couple days ago but the battery was almost dead and it was idling very rough and making popping noises, i charged my battery, the fuel pump turns on, i try to fire it up but it will not fire up, it is turning over fine it and it really wants to fire up. any ideads of what the problem is?

The battery terminals look perfect, i have a red top which is fairly new. i tired starting it today and nothing has changed i just added some octane booster in the tank i did notice there was some pressure that built up in the tank i noticed. im still lost and looking for more ideas.
Sounds like a similiar problem that I had...Try changing out the ignition and starter relays...I changed both out, and my car started right up...Since then I have not had a problem...It might work, but its just a suggestion...

hey thanks a lot for everyones ideas and support i pulled one of the plugs and it looked fouled and it wasn't even the right plug that should be in my car it was a NGK TR5 thanks to the previous owner, anyhow i bought some ac delco plugs and swapped them and it fired right up and runs great. thanks once again

Verdad Gallardo The plugs being fouled definatly could have been the culprit...but the NGK plugs are a popular aftermarket plug for our cars... The TR5's are for naturally aspirated motors, and the TR6's are 1 step colder for forced induction or NOS. But either way....glad you got your problem taken care of.
