Injector advice please Car: 2003c5z06, road race use.
Mods: ported heads, intake, cam etc. goal around 440rwhp.
I believe a set of 36lb at 3 bar would be fine?
I just finished reading GM EFI 2nd edition and plan to buy HP Tuners in the next few days
and tune myself.
What do you guys recommend? I can get my stock injectors modified
by FIC or a set of FAST 36's. Either would be just under 300$. What would be the easiest
for a noob to setup and tune?

Are you running boost? 36lb injectors will be fine, but you have to look at what PSI that 36lb is rated at..a lot of the time the injector flow ratings are based on lower PSIs than what LS's run (58lbs) running and (60lbs) key on. Plus, if you plan on running E85 or turbo etc. you'll want bigger injectors. When you go to the injector flow rate tables on HP Tuners you'll want to take your injector rating at 58 PSI and subtract the stock injector rating which is usually 26lbs on a lot of LS1s. So whatever the difference is, you'll add that across the board in the table by highlighting all of the boxes and using the plus symbol above in HP tuners. Regardless, I would say getting a new set of injectors would be your best bet. That way you can sell your current ones to a vendor who rebuilds or sells them or to someone else.
