Options on where to install power for Hotwire kit?

Options on where to install power for Hotwire kit? I will be putting in my Hotwire kit for the Walbro340 very soon. But I would like to know if I can wire the power for the hotwire kit somewhere else besides directly to the altenator due to an easier quicker install. Are there other options I can use like RED CAP by the use boxes under the hood. I think that is the Power distribution cap (or something). Thanks

It really isnt too bad down on the alternator. I just ran mine right along with the fuel lines (behind the heat shielding, etc..) and then along the O2 sensor wire to the alternator.
I'm not sure about the red cap hot lead or not. I dont see why it wouldnt work there but I never tried it. Let us know if it works for you.

I would not use the power block at the fuse panel the entire car sucks power from there and drains the voltage. Kinda defeats the purpose of hot wiring anyway. The purpose is to get the 14 volts directly from the Alt. with no power drop.
