I am having trouble with an autometer nv series electric fuel pressure gauge. after install it worked as it should. one day when went to drive car it had stopped working. it stays constantly at zero. when you first turn the key it flickers like it is getting power but stays at zero, then remains at zero. then one day it started working randomly, it worked for two start ups and stopped working again. it is now doing what it was staying at zero with a small flicker on initial power up of gauge.

this is on one of my buddies cars, that is what I was thinking almost sounds like a ground issue to me. I was just seeing if anyone has had any specific experiance that it did the same thing.

I would say ground also. Did he cut the wires to run them thro the fire wall? If so he needs to solder them to make a really good connection and not use butt connectors cause u will lose resistance.
