Sending Unit to Vette Filter Swap ?'s Alright so I am stuck on what to safely do to get this setup working. I am in the middle of my 84 C4 swap to a turbo 5.3 and fuel and finishing my wiring is all I need to get this thing started. So I bought the racetronix in tank kit which fit perfectly. Now I'm having trouble what to do to get the fuel from the sending unit to the C5 FPR/filter.... The factory sending unit just has the line with barbs coming out of it because it was not EFI and regular old hose was clamped on to the sending unit......like this here
What is the best way to get from the barbed hose ends to the C5 FPR SAFELY...I don't want to use injection hose and clamps. Do I need nylon hose to go over these outlets? The filter will be mounted back by the fuel tank and not in the original location way up front. I need to run the line on the opposite side as the original but the filter and hard line up the engine is no problem for me just getting from the old school barbed fittings to the filter is where I need some options.
