Default Chilling the fuel?

Hi guys! in very new to all this car performamce stuff so dont laugh if this queston is stupid!
I was on jegs an i saw these small coolers used to cool oil, power steering fluid, etc. They look like little radiators. Someone told me you can use it to cool the fuel. Just how effective is cooling the fuel? Anyone seen HP gain or MPG increase from doing that?

It was popular in the carbueted days to prevent vapor lock.

I doubt it would make little if any difference in a high pressure fuel injected system.

The only time fuel heat might be an issue is if you are running the return line from the rails back to the tank along with a multiple fuel pump system that has the pumps running full time instead of on a Hobbs switch...and even then, it would be debatable. Save your time, and save your money.
