I was wondering how some of you guys feel about the return line on these F Bodies of ours, at the time I'm running an lq4/l92 with ls3 intake and rails which is only allowing me a returnless setup. I have an aeromotive 340 in-tank pump with hotwire kit and corvette filter(regulator) which is causing my fuel pressure to be 60 psi at idle but I see it drop's a hair with a little gas. Do you guys think I will benefit any from re-installing the return line besides constant pressure?

Personally, I don't care for the stock setup at all. Does it work? Yes. Is it ideal? FAR from it. I have a customer's car on the rack right now that we've been debating on either a 340, or twin 255s. We're estimating 500rwhp on his build...and also throwing a 200-shot at it. With an IDEAL fuel line/regulator/rail setup, the Aeromotive 340 would probably fit the bill. However, with the amount of restrictions in the factory setup, we're probably going to opt for the dual walbros. Yeah, it'll be too much fuel for his application.....but the single 340 is probably on the borderline, given the design of the stock feed system. As for fuel pressure, we'll just have to see if it regulates correctly.
If he had the $$$, I'd be installing a return-style setup with billet rails though an external Aeromotive regulator.

In my opinion the 340 is plenty of pump for anything N/A with nitrous. I believe I'm about to re-install my return line for constant pressure but I have a video of my car running with the 340 and un-tunned 100 shot.

Depends on the size of the shot (obviously). But I agree that the 340 pump would more than likely work for us in a "proper" unrestricted system.
