another problem with pump... well my friend got the pump in for me and it drove fine for about a day. now the fuel pressure is down from 58psi to 20psi, the air fuel doesn't even rergister at WOT, and the vac guage rose to 26in.Hg. is the fuel pump ruined? can it possibly be somethin small? please help so i can start the sc install. thanks
Have you pulled the pump back out? One of the hose clamps may have come loose, that has happened to several people. When I installed the Holley kit from Thunder one of the hose clamps actually broke when I was tightening it. This kinda sucks to hear, it seems it's becoming the fuel pump from hell install.

yeah it is man. my friend said he scanned it and it said the problem is between the pump and the fuel pressure regulator. he pulled the pump out again, checked all the wires and connections and said everything in the tank was fine. i dunno, could it be somethin like the fuel fliter being clogged? or maybe my regulator itself got messed up? i had no idea it would get this difficult. thanks alot.

yeah well i changed the fuel filter and it still runs like ****. the only i can figure is the pump isn't getting enough power. oh well they'll figure it out. they are doin it for free so i can't complain on how long it takes.
