Default Fuel pressure problem.. stumble at accelaration

I have a 1999 formula that is pretty much stock. I use it for my everyday driver. It idles fine and revs fine. But when I try to accelerate past half throttle it stumbles, hesitates and breaks up pretty bad. I Figured it was fuel related and did a pressure test. This is where I start to scratch my head. With the key forward the gauge only reads 10 psi. But when I turn the engine on the pressure shoots to 60 psi. This has got to be the regulator. My question though, is the regulator part of the fuel pump or a separate part in the tank? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The fuel pressure regulator is mounted in the fuel pump module. However it is easley removed, by pushing the retainer up.

It is located on your fuel rail not your pump. Its on the drivers side rail.

Thanks ollie, I think I'll take care of it over the weekend. question is should I just replace the regulator or swap the regulator and pump? The car is close to 140k now. I don't even hear the pump whine anymore when the key is turned forward.

The fuel pressure regulator is in the fuel pump as shown.

With 140K miles, as long as the pump module is removed replace both the pump and regulator.
