Fuel Pump, Fuel Filter, Something Else?
Fuel Pump, Fuel Filter, Something Else? Today I brought my car to a car show and after I parked I went to move it to a different spot. When I went to turn it over it would try to start but wouldn't turn completely over. I gave it some gas and it started up and black smoke came out of the exhaust. I moved it and parked it for about 2 hours. Restarted the car a few times with no issue during the show. When I was going home it died after I was driving for awhile. It did the same thing to struggle to turn over and after giving it some gas it turned over. I got it home finally. After doing some searching I plan on having a pressure test done to check the fuel pump and replacing the fuel filter. Is there anything else I should be looking at or am I on the right track? Car is a '02 WS6 with 74, 000 miles.
