Help)+= My 99 M6 TA has been acting up for the last few months. Whenever the car is in gear and I try to accelarate it jerks real bad and then stalls with a loud backfire. I thought the intake manifold might be leaking so I picked up a used stock one and put it on. At first I thought that this helped a little. It drove the car for about 20 miles and it seemed to get better the longer I drove it. In fact the car was running almost perfect when I noticed how low on gas I was, so I filled her up. And now the problem is worse then ever!?! I almost didn't make it home)-= Why would the amount of gas in the tank make a difference? Any help or ideas would be greatly appericeted.

Any mods that might affect this? Something that would push that much fuel into the engine? Are you using a wet NOS system?
