Default Fuel injector question

This weekend, I plan on installing an LS6 intake on my car. It's a stock 2000 LS1 with the standard 24# (I think?) injectors. I purchased a brand new LS6 intake with the 28# injectors included. I'm *assuming* it's best to have the car tuned for the bigger injectors so my question is how soon should I get it turned? Basically, if I test drive the car or drive it short distances, will it harm anything? Will the computer relearn how much fuel to put in on its own without getting a tune? Hopefully these questions make sense!

Thanks in advance,
Matt

Just Get it tuned ASAP. The computer wont know you installed bigger injectors, but its always safer to just get car tuned. I doubt youll go through any issues just driving around town.

I just want to make sure. I blew the clutch last July/August so I'll have to have it towed to a shop to have that replaced, but I wanted to make sure I'd be able to drive it home, and then drive it to a tuner when the time came without any harm.
