My modified set-up: What initial fuel pressure?? Hi Guys,
My LS1 is in a hot-rod/kitcar over here in the UK.
Trouble is that no workshops understand anything with more grunt than a four cylinder hairdryer!
I've made a few mods so far and need to know what initial fuel pressure to run to get her running on the original ECM programming. I'm sure I'll need some tuning in the end (ideas??) but it would be nice to get her started so I can do a noise test!!
My set-up is:
2001/2 LS1, LS1 Hotcam, Gratanelli MAF, 1.8 Crane r/rockers, custom long tube headers, Borla silencers(!), custom air filter, Aeromotive fuel filters, regulator, billet fuel pump (big one) and pump controller.
The injectors are standard. The mods are to enable me to increase the hp at a later date. The car only weighs 1900lbs so it should be enough for now!
Any ideas on the FP? Any other advice gratefully accepted.
