Another confused with injector sizing.... Hello all, I am getting my nova together finally, motor and tranny are now done and just got in the holley oil pan, accessory drive, swap mounts, crossmember and headers! Those are all nice pieces btw. I have a stock lq4 bottom end, 243 heads, ls6 intake and 78mm tb, a Pat Guerra spec 226/230 .598/.600 113lsa cam with PAC 1518 springs. This car has a built 4l60 w/ 2600 stall, and 1 3/4 long tubes. The question I have is this: the manifold has 28.8 lb injectors, the local tuner says these will be fine, as the motor is only going to make make 350-400hp, but I know it should be closer to the 500 mark. Tuner #2 says I need 42lb injectors. I have a new fuel tank ready to be modded with the tanks inc pump. I would like to run the plastic fuel line and the corvette filter/regulator setup. Any thoughts or suggestions to injector size, and or pump volume/pressure? Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you!
