Hi, I have a LQ9 stock motor im planing to put in my 1976 firebird. I was hoping I could get some info or article links on info on what it would take to change the stock truck intake to a carburator type intake but use a efi that looks like a carb so I can put a stock breather on. Im planing to get valve covers that hide the coilpacks, but when it comes to the intake manifold and msd controlers I dont know how to tell what ones will work with the LQ9... any help would be awesome
thanks. Erik

I want one for it if I can find one for a resonable price. I have a stock hood and a formula hood for it but like the look of the shaker

Edelbrock offers these two EFI manifolds for the LS engine.
Victor Jr. 29085
Super victor 28095.
For use with a 4 barrel style throttle body.

Mine's not the prettiest, but I'm still putting it back together. I used an Edelbrock Super Victor with an Accufab 4150 throttle body.
I used:
Edelbrock Super Victor 28095
Edelbrock 3638 Fuel Rail Kit (made to fit victor jr, required some trimming for throttle linkage)
Universal Throttle Cable

What do you consider a reasonable price.
Converting the 76 to EFI is not going to be cheap.
What fuel system are you using.
