Fuel spraying after FPR normal?

Default Fuel spraying after FPR normal?
My 02 LS1 has been running a little low fuel pressure wise (50psi at WOT). I was running the pump today and noticed fuel is spraying out after the fuel pressure regulator (area circled in attachment).

I'm running a Racetronix pump with the hotwire kit, and the FPR is stock. Would this, "leak" cause the low fuel pressure?

That area is downstream of the actual regulator so it should not effect the pressure.

Depends on the leak if it is after the regulator then you're OK but if it is leaking above that it will pressurize and drop pressure immediately.
