size of stock line to filter?
size of stock line to filter? Anyone know the diameter of the stock nylon/plastic line between the tank and the filter? I kinked mine, so I'm thinking of replacing the section right before the filter. Also if anyone's done that repair, any advice on the best method? I couldn't tell if it's really damaged, but it's 14 years old, so seems like a good idea to replace it.

The fuel line is 3/8 inch.

Thanks. Decided to get the Dorman repair tool ($75 on amazon, another $$ tool I'll probably use once) and nylon repair line which has the quick connector on one end (800-058). I've been looking for a more flexible type of nylon line that won't kink (which they should have used in the first place), but haven't found anything so far that doesn't have the wrong connectors pre-installed.

Purchase the line at a Pick A Part yard, cut to size.
Splice several pieces together to get the shape needed.
I noticed Dorman offers compression unions.
With the tool you bought, you can install the ends you need.
