fuel regulator 06 silverado

fuel regulator 06 silverado wheres the regulator? swapping in 2006 5.3 with single fuel line inlet on rail. This is going into 76 skylark so im setting up fuel system. I was thinking of running fuel pump assembly that came from same truck. Good or bad idea? I already have a new replacement tank but havent done anything with it yet. Yes I just found out tanks Inc selling a ready tank now but I bought this before word of it. I think there set up kinda cheesy looking. Is the regulator on silverado in 2006 in pump assembly, or can just hook up corvette filter ? Corvette filter would regulate it then. Advice on it? Thanks
