Totally Confused On Crankcase Venting I have read so much about it I think I overloaded myself. Maybe someone can help me out. 2006 Sierra I recently installed an on3 Kit. Im only shooting for about 7 lbs of boost. I have a tune on Monday, so I want to try and get some kind of "temporary" breather system on there. I am going to do a catch can system once the cars tuned, but for now, I just need something to get me around.
My plan was to just link the passanger side, and driver side valve covers together, and tap my oil fill cap for a breather? Will this work for now? Or does someone have a better idea? Thanks

it will work for now...
but it would be better to vent both sides with breathers instead of linking them
buy another valve cover with an oil cap and do the same mod to both sides...
its even better to use a Vacuum pump to create crankcase vacuum
the downside with boost is that you will always pressurize the crankcase...unless you add a vacuum pump to the engine to draw it out of the crankcase
